Golden State Warriors 120, Sacramento Kings 100
The Golden State Warriors survived a late Sacramento Kings comeback to win Game 7 of their Western Conference first-round series on Sunday, 120-100. Stephen Curry led the way for the Warriors with 50 points, 10 rebounds, and 10 assists. Kevon Looney added 20 rebounds, and Klay Thompson scored 20 points. The Kings were led by De'Aaron Fox's 23 points. Domantas Sabonis added 22 points and 14 rebounds, and Harrison Barnes scored 19 points. The Warriors took a 10-point lead into the fourth quarter, but the Kings cut the lead to five points with just over five minutes remaining. Curry then hit a three-pointer to give the Warriors some breathing room, and the Kings were never able to get closer than five points again. The Warriors will now advance to the second round of the playoffs, where they will face the Los Angeles Lakers. The Lakers are the No. 1 seed in the Western Conference and are coming off a 4-1 series win over the Portland Trail Blazers. The Warriors and Lakers will tip off Game 1 of their series on Tuesday night in Los Angeles.
