Close Associates and Aides Charged in Indictment

An Arizona state grand jury has indicted former President Donald Trump's chief of staff, Mark Meadows, and several other close associates in connection with their efforts to overturn the results of the 2020 presidential election. Indictments Include Rudy Giuliani and Mark Meadows

The indictment also includes Republican Congressman Paul Gosar of Arizona and Arizona state representatives Mark Finchem and David Farnsworth.

According to the indictment, the defendants conspired to submit false slates of electors to the National Archives and Records Administration, casting electoral votes for Trump in states that he had actually lost.
