Chelsea took on Tottenham at Stamford Bridge in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon and emerged victorious with a 2-0 win. The Blues dominated the match from start to finish and took the lead in the first half through Trevoh Chalobah. Kai Havertz added a second goal in the second half to seal the three points for Chelsea.
Tottenham had a few chances to get back into the game but they were unable to convert them. Chelsea goalkeeper Edouard Mendy made a number of important saves to keep Tottenham at bay.
The win moves Chelsea up to second place in the Premier League table, while Tottenham remain in eighth place.
