Ashley Tyler Ciminella was born on April 19, 1968, in Granada, Mississippi. Her mother, Naomi Judd, was a renowned country music singer, and Ashley grew up in a family immersed in the performing arts. She pursued a career in acting, graduating from the University of Kentucky and making her film debut in 1991's "Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country."
