In foreign policy, Kim Jong-un has maintained a confrontational stance towards South Korea and the United States. He has conducted numerous nuclear tests and missile launches, and has refused to engage in meaningful dialogue with the international community.
Negotiations with the United States
In 2018, Kim Jong-un became the first North Korean leader to meet with a sitting American president when he met with President Donald Trump in Singapore. The two leaders signed a joint statement expressing their commitment to denuclearization and improving relations.
Conclusion

It remains to be seen whether he will be able to achieve his goals of denuclearization and lasting peace on the Korean Peninsula.
