Roma fires Daniele De Rossi after winless start
Roma has fired manager Daniele De Rossi after the team went winless in its opening four Serie A matches.
The decision was announced by the club on Monday, with De Rossi's assistant manager, Alberto De Rossi, taking over as interim manager.
Roma has struggled for form this season, losing three of its first four matches and drawing the other. The team's only goal so far this season came in a 1-1 draw with Sassuolo.
De Rossi, a former Roma player, was appointed manager in June after Paulo Fonseca was sacked. He had previously been in charge of the club's youth team.
Roma's next match is at home to Udinese on Sunday.
